- Of the 9,691 male sex offenders released from prisons in 15 States in 1994, 5.3% were rearrested for a new sex crime within 3 years of release.
- Of released sex offenders who allegedly committed another sex crime, 40% perpetrated the new offense within a year or less from their prison discharge.
Today there are well over 300,000 sex offenders registered in the United State. 60% of child sex offenders are REPEAT OFFENDERS under community supervision.
Studies of victims have found that less than 16% of sex crimes are reported to law enforcement.
The average pedophile molests 148 children.

- TRY to use the buddy system when children play outdoors.
- CALL 911 if your parents aren't home and this offender approaches you.
